Calabash Festival in Montserrat, July 15-22, 2018

Montserrat is a Caribbean Island in the Lesser Antilles. It is known as the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean. In July of 1995, the Soufriere Volcano destroyed it’s capital city of Plymouth. See this stunning drone footage taken by Capt. Bergeron.

CaribbeanDays can book your stay on Antigua, Barbuda, Aruba or another nearby island so you can fly in to Montserrat to tour the Montserrat Volcano Observatory and safely see the Soufriere Volcano.

If you book this experience between July 15-22, guests can also partake in Montserrat’s upcoming Calabash Festival, now in it’s 10th successful year!

The Calabash Festival is named after the calabash fruit that was traditionally used to produce eating utensils, musical instruments and decorative items.
