The Britannia, at the Hyatt Regency in the heart of Seven Mile Beach, is the only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in the Caribbean. The course is actually two courses in one, with a par-58 executive-style, or short, course, and a par-70 championship course. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sunday morning, the course is played Executive format. Otherwise, it is played as a very challenging 9-hole regulation course. Most golfers play with regular golf balls, but the Cayman Ball, specially developed by Jack Nicklaus to travel half the distance of a normal ball and give the feel of playing a regulation course on an executive course, can provide a new and different experience. The Sunrise Family Golf Centre is Grand Cayman’s newest golf course. It is a 9-hole par-3 course, with a challenging layout suited for juniors, beginners, or golfers looking to sharpen their short game.
