Numerous and Diverse Activities

The National Park (340-776-6201, http://www.nps.gov/viis/) offers guided trail tours. Carolina Corral in Coral Bay (340-693-5778) offers horseback riding and donkey trail rides. The watersports operators are too plentiful to list here; if snorkeling, sailing, scuba or sportfishing are your pleasure, you should have no trouble finding a company to take you.
To get the most from your St. John vacation, plan your trip to coincide with one of the island’s festivals. St. John’s version of Carnival is held every July in conjunction with Independence Day festivities. Every Thanksgiving, St. John plays host to the Coral Bay Thanksgiving Regatta, a unique one-day sailing event that attracts a diverse group of seamen
