Amazing sights and scenery
The British Virgin Islands are filled with amazing sights and scenery, breathtaking hillside vistas, pristine waters and white sandy beaches. All of island’s natural beauty is certainly worth a thorough tour, and there are a number of guides who can help plan your sightseeing.
The best way to see the island is to call Andy Flax; he runs the Virgin Gorda Tours Association ((284) 495-5252), which will give you a tour of the island for about $20 per person. The tour leaves twice daily, or more often based on demand. You can be picked up at the ferry dock if you give them 24-hour notice.
Sometimes, the best way to see and learn about these enchanted islands is to take an island tour with our friendly and knowledgeable taxi drivers. Or, for an adventurous experience, you can enlist the help of special sightseeing operators – generally operating out of Tortola – who will show you the “lay of the land” from above.
