CaribbeanDays Just Returned from St. Croix!
St. Croix is one of the three main U.S. Virgin Islands and a passport is not needed for entry.
The island is 28 miles long and 7 miles wide with a population of only 52,000 residents.
CaribbeanDays had the pleasure of visiting St. Croix and made it our “homebase” as we recently did site inspections in the USVI’s.

With the cooling trade winds, St. Croix rarely sees temperatures below 60 or above 90 degrees.
St. Croix’s Point Udall is the easternmost point of the United States of America. The view from this location leaves one speechless.
The tourism on St. Croix is not as high as it is on St. Thomas or St. Croix, which makes it a great destination for the most rest and relaxation away from it all.
From the mountains, the rain forest and the culture of Fredericksted and Christiansted to the friendly locals, the tide pools, scuba diving the “Wall” and snorkeling Buck Island …..St. Croix has it all bundled up in 87 square miles.
The USVI’s have recovered from Irma and Maria. The waters are blue, the beaches are sandy and the friendly local faces are all ready and waiting to welcome you. The stories they tell of their journey back from that disaster are captivating.
There is now ferry service from Christiansted, St. Croix to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. You can also fly from St. Thomas or your major airport. Seaborne Airlines offers seaplane flights multiple times daily. Once on island grab a map and rent a car and explore, but drive on the left.
If you have never made a visit to St. Croix, it is time to check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
