Updates From the Caribbean Tourism Organization
The Caribbean Tourism Organization have been holding a conference this month, Caribbean Week in New York, on storm repair statuses from hurricanes Maria and Irma.
“The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), is the region’s tourism development agency, with 24 Dutch, English and French country members and a myriad of private sector allied members. The CTO’s vision is to position the Caribbean as the most desirable, year round, warm weather destination. Its purpose is Leading Sustainable Tourism – One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean.”
These are a few of the highlights for our Caribbean Guests. The conference is ongoing and we will continue to update as new information becomes available:
– “Cayman Islands Department of Tourism continues to give its visitors peace of mind with the destination’s “Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee,” a specialty promise made by on-island partners to cover any cancellations made prior to arrival and compensation if vacation time is cut short due to inclement weather during a Cayman Islands getaway.”
– “Dominica, The Nature Island of the Caribbean, has launched its “ReDiscover Dominica Campaign” to encourage travelers to visit the island.”
– The conference is still ongoing. Check back for more updates
