Or, to rent a dinghy for the day and find your own secluded beaches and snorkeling spots, contact Leverick Bay Watersports (284-495-7376). You might prefer to charter a boat, where your captain will take you to great snorkeling spots, remote beaches, and more. Visit (284-443-2586) or (284-499-0901). Charter Virgin Gorda (284-495-7421) does both fishing charters and cruising and snorkeling trips.

For snorkeling, Spring Bay has a gorgeous sandy beach with some lovely underwater sights, and the world-famous Baths, with their extraordinary natural landscape of partially submerged grottoes, giant boulder fields, and coral-encrusted shallows. Neighboring Devil’s Bay Beach, with its pure white sand, large boulders, and deep blue waters, is also worth exploring with a mask and snorkel.

Of course, you’ll want to spend some time exploring Virgin Gorda’s beaches. In addition to those mentioned above, visit Savannah Bay Beach, located to the north of the Yacht Harbour. Here you’ll find a long curve of sand perfect for relaxing and swimming, and spectacular sunsets. Mahoe Bay Beach is remote and quiet, with vivid blue waters sheltered by two picturesque reefs. Spring Bay Beach is one of Virgin Gorda’s loveliest, with white sand sprinkled with boulders and clear waters. Finally, Trunk Bay, one of a series of awesome white sand beaches on the island’s western shore, can be reached by boat or along a path from Spring Bay.
